Kubo Pokorny
Business and English
Kubo is a Grade 11 student with a strong passion for business. He has taught over 40 students through established programs and has achieved 98% in both Marketing and Promotion 12 and Accounting 11. He is excited to share business concepts with the next generation of learners.
Betty Wu
Math, French, Computer Science, and Psychology
Betty is a Grade 9 student at Prince of Wales Secondary. Her hobbies include drawing, playing the piano, and programming. She scored a 5 on AP Psychology, earned 97% in French 11, and was the top scorer in the junior division of the Canadian Computing Competition at her school. She is also a member of the Youth Musicians and Artists Association (YMAA) and enjoys helping others.
Trevor Tan
Math and Psychology
Trevor is a Grade 11 student at Prince of Wales Mini School offering tutoring in math and psychology. He scored a 5 in AP Macroeconomics, a 4 in AP Microeconomics, and achieved 100% in Pre-Calculus 11. Trevor has placed in the top 10% in the Pascal and Fermat Math Contests, and in the top 25% in the Cayley Contest. He enjoys helping others learn and aims to make tutoring a fun and stress-free experience.
Nathan Chan
Math, Physics and Chemistry
Nathan is a Grade 11 student with a strong passion for Chemistry and Physics. He scored 100% in Physics 11 and 97% in Chemistry 11. Nathan enjoys explaining and teaching complex topics to fellow students.
Oliver Gao
Math, History, Business and Economics
Oliver is a Grade 11 student fluent in both English and Mandarin. He is currently studying calculus, placed in the top 5% of the Pascal Mathematics Competition, and received the top award in the Junior Division of the 7th Global Chinese Recitation (Canadian Region). He also achieved 97% in Economics 12.
Kenny Lu
Math, Business and English
Kenny is a Grade 11 student at Prince of Wales Secondary School with extensive experience in business through various competitions and courses. He is proficient in math up to Pre-Calculus 11 and has experience working with children through the Vancouver International Children’s Festival (VICF).
